Six sources are pre-set: 500 W cinematic softboxes overhead, warm LED lamps on the walls, a wash on the shelves and gobo masks that draw patterns on the wall.
Acoustic panels around the seat — the room sounds soft and close, with no echo and no air-conditioning noise on the recording.
Four podcast mics as standard, more on request.
Audio cables run inside the walls into the recorder and straight into the cameras — the floor stays clear.
Three cameras on tripods come with almost every service; two more can be added for a fee.
A TV on wheels rolls in for slides, your logo or a remote guest.
The zone stands in one open space of about 807 sq ft shared with zones 3, 4, 5 and 6, under a 10-ft ceiling.

Booking the Cinematic Lounge
What lighting is in this zone?
Cinema-grade key, fill and background softboxes shape the picture, and dimmable LED bulbs add a warm, cozy glow. Brightness is fully adjustable, though the fixtures are not color-changing panels.
Is the lounge quiet enough for clean audio?
It is a closed room finished with premium acoustic panels — no echo off the walls and no street noise in the recording.
How do I book this zone?
Pick your date and hours on the booking page, add any extras you need, and pay to confirm the slot. Self-service studio time starts at $99 per hour with a two-hour minimum; every current rate is listed on the booking page.
Do you film it for me, or do I record it myself?
By default you record it yourself — the zone is handed over to you ready to shoot. Filming with a sound engineer, multi-camera 4K and editing are separate services, and all of them are listed on our services page.
Can we film with our own videographer?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own videographer, photographer or crew and shoot the session yourselves.
Can we rent the gear and record without an engineer?
Yes. Add the equipment you need in the add-ons, we build the setup for you and press record. We do not ride focus and we do not monitor the recording during the session — that part is on you or your assistant.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Cancel seven days or more before the session and the booking is refundable minus processing fees. Within seven days it becomes non-refundable, but you can still reschedule free of charge to any open slot up to 24 hours before the start. In the final 24 hours the booking can no longer be changed.
